Ownership of Work

All designs and work products remain the property of Richard Pearson until full payment is received. Upon final payment, ownership of the final deliverables will be transferred to the client.

Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total project cost is required before any resources are allocated or work begins. The deposit secures your project in my schedule.

Payment Terms

The remaining balance is due upon completion of the project and before the delivery of any final files. Payment can be made via Bank Transfer or via the Online Payment Portal through my invoicing partner. All details pertaining to this as outlined in the final invoice.

Revisions

Projects typically have 3 rounds of revisions per item, this is subject to project needs. Additional revisions will be reviewed between myself and the client. Extra revisions are billed at an hourly rate of $80 NZD +GST.

Project Timelines

An estimated timeline will be provided at the start of a project. Delays in client feedback or approval may extend the project timeline. I will not be responsible for delays caused by the client.

Cancellation Policy

If the client decides to cancel the project after work has begun, the initial deposit will not be refunded. Additional work completed beyond the deposit amount will be billed at the agreed hourly rate.

Intellectual Property Rights

Preliminary works, concepts, and drafts are the intellectual property of Richard Pearson, and are not to be used or distributed without written permission.

Confidentiality:

All client information and project details will be kept confidential. Any public display of the project will be agreed upon by both parties.

Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to provide timely feedback, materials, and approvals necessary for the completion of the project. Delays in client responses may affect the project timeline and final delivery date.
